Editorial standards
How we write, what we refuse, and how we stay accountable to readers—evidence, humility, and honest correction.
We are not a feed. We publish at a pace that respects attention, and we edit for warmth without flattery. Long pieces earn their length; short ones earn their place.
Evidence and story
We separate evidence from anecdote. Integrative thinking is welcome; borrowing the authority of a tradition to sell certainty is not. When we recommend a practice or object, we say why it earned a place—and when to leave it aside.
Commerce
Editorial is never pay-to-play. The shop exists because some questions are answered better with a well-made object than with another app. When we mention a product, the reader should know if it is sold here—and never feel a hidden sell.
Corrections
If we misstate a fact, we fix it plainly and note the change. If something feels off to you, write to the desk; we read every serious note. Good-faith correction is part of the contract.
Care
We do not use crisis language to keep you clicking. If you are in acute distress, we point you toward clinical and emergency care—not because we are distant, but because the right help has to match the room you are in.
